orn in 1978 in Tunisia where she regularly returns, Nadia Kaabi-Linke left for Paris
where she undertook further studies and was awarded a Ph.D. in Arts and Sciences of
Art at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. Nadia Kaabi-Linke is internationally
recognized and her artistic works have often been awarded: Jury Prize at the Biennale
of Alexandria in 2009, Abraaj Capital Art Prize in 2011 in Dubai. Her creations are part
of the public collections of the prestigious Museum of Modern Art of New York, MoMA.
Archaeologist of the present, Nadia Kaabi-Linke builds her work around the concept of
archive. The concept of time is the main theme that underlies her work and the urban world is the space where
she conducts her artistic research. The urban world she offers is based on a hidden reality, neglected most of
the time. Her expressions explore areas such as vandalism; she scans the dilapidated walls, decrypting thus
a sort of free expression. Most recently, she conducted a project for the collection and archiving of the marks
of visible and invisible wounds of domestic violence victims. Nadia Kaabi-Linke thus takes an intimate look at
the wounds of victims of domestic violence.

نادية الكعبي – لينكه ، املختصة يف أثريات الحارض، متحور عملها حول فكرة األرشيف. مفهوم الزمن ميثل املوضوع األسايس ألعاملها
و يطبعها جميعا. فضاء البحث الفني لنادية الكعبي – لينكه هو العامل الحرضي، و العامل الذي تسلط عليه األضواء يرتكز عىل
واقع مخفي كثريا ما يتجاهله الناس. فهي توجه اهتاممها إىل صيغ من التعبري مثل النزعة إىل التخريب، و تتفحص الجدران الخربة

باعتبارها رضبا من التعبري الحر تسعى إىل فك رموزه. يف الفرتة األخرية سعت إىل تنفيذ مرشوع جمع و توثيق عالمات الجروح
.الظاهرة و الخفية لضحايا العنف العائيل. و هي بذلك تلقي نظرة حميمية عىل الجراح التي يشكوها ضحايا العنف بني األزواج
