Le Palais de Tokyo à Paris accueille, dans le cadre du Guest Program, l’exposition N°5 CULTURE CHANEL.
Œuvres d’art, photographies, films, archives et objets exposés rendent compte des multiples
inspirations qui ont nourris l’univers et l’imaginaire de Mademoiselle Chanel faisant écho à sa
propre réflexion et donnant naissance à ce parfum unique et intemporel : qu’il s’agisse de ses
lieux de prédilection ou des créations de ses amis artistes, poètes, musiciens, Cocteau, Picasso,
Apollinaire, Stravinsky, Picabia. Centrée sur la permanence des liens entre CHANEL et les
arts, N° 5 CULTURE CHANEL révèle l’essence artistique, intemporelle et iconique du parfum
N° 5. I Palais de Tokyo in Paris, Palais de Tokyo in Paris will house the N° 5 CULTURE CHANEL
exhibition as part of its Guest Program. The works of art, photographs, films, archives and
objects exhibited provide an account of the many inspirations which fed the imagination and
world of Mademoiselle Chanel. They echo her inner thoughts and shed light on this unique and
timeless perfume; whether through her favourite destinations or through the creations of her
artist, poet and musician friends Cocteau, Picasso, Apollinaire, Stravinsky, Picabia. Focusing on
the long lasting attachments between CHANEL and the arts, N° 5 CULTURE CHANEL seeks to
reveal the timeless and iconic artistic essence of the N° 5 perfume. I
