Nizar Chaari’s trip
What was your most exotic trip?
I hesitate between Dubrovnik, Croatia, which
dazzled me with its natural beauty and its
extraordinary rocky bays, Istanbul with its strait
between two worlds and Venice with its gondolas
and palaces, hiding a thousand love stories. Finally,
I think that every trip has a different taste for
me and I cannot use superlatives because every
destination is different from the other.
What do you always have in your suitcase?
My cell phone laptop chargers. I am terrified of
being disconnected. I think it is always easier to find
clothes or toiletries around the world than the right
charger for the brand of your laptop or mobile phone.
What does travelling evoke?
For me, travelling is synonymous with learning.
Each new city, each new culture and each new
way of seeing things have an added value to my
life experience. Travelling made me understand
very early that we are different and that it is not a
problem, rather it is an asset.
Your favourite museum and restaurant?
My favorite museum is probably Topkapi in
Istanbul, even though I have been impressed by
several museums in Vienna, Barcelona and Cairo.
Yet, I will not be able to choose among restaurants
as I love good food, and I think restaurants in
Marrakech, Beirut and Cannes have a special place
in my memories.
The land of your dreams?
Japan, but I have not yet had the pleasure to visit it ,
neither the United States nor China, which I am very
interested in discovering.

ما هي الرحلة األكرث غرابة؟
أتردد بني دوبروفنيك، يف كرواتيا، التي أبهرتني بجاملها
الطبيعي و خلجانها الصخرية اإلستثنائية، و اسطنبول و
مضيقها الرابط بني عاملني، والبندقية و جنادلها و قصورها
التي تخفي ألف قصة حب و قصة. لكن يف األخري، أعتقد أن
لكل رحلة طعم مختلف بالنسبة يل، وال ميكنني استخدام
.صيغ التفضيل ألن كل بلد مختلف عن اآلخر
ماذا تحمل دامئا يف حقيبتك؟
أجهزة شحن الكمبيوتر و الهاتف الجوال. أخاف جدا من
البقاء معزوال. لذا أعتقد أنه من األسهل دامئا رشاء مالبس أو
مستحرضات من أي مكان يف العامل، لكن يصعب إيجاد جهاز
.شحن يتامىش و كمبيوتري أو هاتفي الجوال
ماذا يثري السفر بالنسبة لك؟
هو مرادف للتعلم، إذ تزيدين كل مدينة و ثقافة أكتشفها و
كل طريقة جديدة لرؤية األشياء خربة يف حيايت. تسنى يل يف
وقت مبكر من خالل السفر معرفة أن االختالف ليس مشكلة
. أو نقصان، بل بالعكس
متحفك ومطعمك املفضالن لديك؟
متحفي املفضل هو عىل األرجح توبكايب يف اسطنبول، عىل
الرغم من إعجايب بالعديد من املتاحف يف فيينا وبرشلونة
والقاهرة. أما عن املطعم، فأنا ال أستطيع االختيار فأنا أحب
الطعام الجيد، لكني أعتقد أن للمطاعم يف مراكش وبريوت
.وكان مكانة خاصة يف ذكريايت
أرض أحالمك؟
اليابان، ولكن مل تتح يل حتى اآلن الفرصة لزيارته، كام أرغب
.يف زيارة الواليات املتحدة و الصني
أمنية للمستقبل؟
آمل أن يقرب السالم بني الشعوب ليك نعرف بعضنا البعض
