Villa Ma-Amoura
Perched on top of a hill, The Villa
Ma-Amoura offers a wonderful view over
the Mediterranean and the surrounding
green landscapes.
t less than an hour’s drive from Tunis,
a guesthouse is hidden, going by the
evocative name of Villa Ma-Amoura.
This retreat located on seven
hectares of land and close to the
village of El Maamoura welcomes
visitors who want to forget time and
space for a few nights.
The Villa Ma-Amoura is not similar to any other guesthouse.
The residence owes its originality to its former owners, Faouzi
El Kamel ¬– famous Tunisian painter – and his wife Fatma
Jaziri who entirely renovated and decorated this old house
with stables that had long since been abandoned. Four years
of development were necessary to achieve such an elegant
and ingenious result. Spaces have entirely been redesigned to
provide well-being. Guests can decide to share moments of
conviviality or rather stay alone in nicely decorated retreats.
Nothing is left to chance : the earthenware in the three
bathrooms, the terra cota, the forged iron as well as the
bedrooms doors have been patiently selected.
Since 2014 the family house has been transformed into a
guesthouse by Jamila El Kamel, the owners’ only daughter.
The Villa Ma-Amoura can host up to twelve people (couples or
groups) et has five bedrooms spread over three floors. This
charming house by the sea is the ideal place to recharge one’s
batteries, in an exceptional setting. I

هــــــــــــــي بيت ضيافة تقع عىل مسافة أقل من ساعة بالسيارة عىل طريق تونس وتحمل اسم يوحي بالحب والجامل : "فيال
أمورى". بنيت الفيال عىل قطعة أرض تبلغ مساحتها سبعة هكتارات بالقرب من قرية املعمورة وتستقبل املسافرين الذين يتوقون

إىل االسرتخاء الجسدي والنفيس والتخلص من الضغوطات اليومية والتمتع بقسط من الراحة لبضع ليال. وهي بحق بيت ضيافة
- فريدة من نوعها ال تجد ما يضاهيها جامال وامتيازا. وقد تم الحفاظ عىل أصالة املبنى بفضل أصحابها السابقني، فوزي الكامل
الرسام التونيس الشهري- وزوجته فاطمة الجزيري الذّان قاما بعمليات التجديد والرتميم ورسم ديكور هذا البيت القديم وإسطبالته
الذي عرف اإلهامل منذ فرتة طويلة. لقد استغرقت عملية الرتميم التي خضع لها هذا املبنى وتحويله إىل تحفة معامرية يف غاية
الروعة واألناقة أربع سنوات. كام تم إعادة تقسيم الفضاءات وتصميم البيت بذوق رفيع لتوفري أجواء مريحة تدعو لالسرتخاء
،وتقاسم اللحظات الحميمية ولالنعزال يف خلوات مرتبة بأناقة. ويف ما يخص الديكور، ال يشء ترك للصدفة : خزف الحاممات الثالثة

.والتريا كوتا، والحديد املطاوع، وأبواب الغرف تم اقتناؤها من محالت بائعي األثاث املستعمل
وقامت جميلة الكامل البنت الوحيدة ألصحاب الفيال بتحويل منزل العائلة إىل "بيت ضيافة" يف عام 4102. تتسع فيال املعمورة إىل
ما يصل إىل اثني عرش شخصا (أزواج أو جامعات)، وتحتوي عىل خمسة غرف موزعة عىل ثالثة طوابق. يعد هذا البيت الساحر
