Alberto Giacometti au Pera Museum

Le Pera Museum en partenariat avec la fondation Giacometti de Paris collabore pour la plus grande exposition
de cet artiste, peintre et sculpteur en Turquie.
L’exposition met en avant d’une manière chronologique et thématique, deux périodes du travail de Giacometti
au travers de 123 œuvres, sculptures, peintures et dessins.
La première partie de l’exposition montre l’influence que Giovanni Giacometti, père de l’artiste et également
peintre a eu sur les œuvres de son fils, mais également celle de ces artistes post–cubiste et du mouvement
surréaliste entre 1922 et 1935.
Le reste de l’exposition met en scène les œuvres clefs créées ente 1950 et 1960. I Alberto Giacometti

partnership with the Giacometti Foundation in Paris collaborates for the biggest exhibition of this artist, painter
and sculptor in Turkey.
The exhibition highlights chronologically and thematically, two periods of Giacometti’s work through 123
pieces, sculptures, paintings and drawings.
The first part of the exhibition shows the influence that Giovanni Giacometti, the artist’s father and also painter
has had on his son’s work, but also the influence of Post-Cubist artists and the Surrealist movement between
1922 and 1935.
The rest of the exhibit presents the key works created between 1950 and 1960. I
