Rock The Kasbah is more than
just a concept, it is a state of
mind. At the head, Philippe
Xerri, former Parisian stylist
who became interior furniture
designer. Under the charm of the handicraft
techniques and the workmanship quality of the
Tunisian artisans, the creator settles in Tunisia in
2001. Then, Philippe Xerri develops the concept
Rock The Kasbah, a clever mix of Tunisian knowhow and design of the twenties, fifties and seventies.
Philippe Xerri’s collections reflect a quirky mind,
definitely rock and above all a great sensitivity to the
Tunisian traditional art. His latest idea, Little Rock
The Kasbah, is a real success. It consists of a
furniture and interior design line meant for the
children, in the same « ethnic-chic » and rock spirit
prized by the brand.
If most of the collections are exported in France in
order to garnish the showroom Rock The Kasbah
located in the 2nd arrondissement in Paris, a few
creations are displayed in the concept store Rock
The Kasbah « Live » in Sidi Bou Saïd. This exhibition
and selling space consists of a boutique open to the
public and a private showroom accessible by
appointment only.
Rock The Kasbah is also a bed & breakfast showroom installed in a 17th century palace at the
doorstep of Tunis medina. The place have been
entirely renovated, furnished and decorated by
Philippe Xerri and hosts exclusively via Airbnb. I

لألثاث املنزيل و بيت ضيافة، فهي أكرث من مجرد مفهوم، بل

الذي أصبح مصمم األثاث الداخيل. نالت التقنيات الحرفية
وجودة التنفيذ التي يتميز بها الحرفيون التونسيون، إعجاب
،املصمم فقرر اإلقامة يف تونس يف عام 1002. ومن ثم

ابتكر فيليب كزاري مفهوم "روك القصبة"، وهو مزيج ذيك
من الخربات التونسية وموضة عرشينيات و خمسينيات
.و سبعينيات القرن املايض
تتميز مجموعة أعامل فيليب كزاري بروح الديكايل، وسامت
"الروك" وتتسم بقدر كبري من الحساسية تجاه الصناعات
التقليدية التونسية. وقد القى إنجازه األخري "ليتل روك
القصبة" نجاحا باهرا. و هو عبارة عىل موديالت مبتكرة من
األثاث الداخيل وديكورات خاصة بغرف األطفال، املتسمة
."بروح "أتنيك شيك" والعالمة التجارية "روك
يف حني يتم تصدير الجزء الكبري من مجموعة أعامله إىل فرنسا
لتعرض يف صالة عرض "روك القصبة" التي تقع يف الدائرة
الثانية ملدينة باريس، تعرض بعض اإلبداعات األخرى يف
محالت الكونسابت ستور "روك القصبة" و "اليف" يف سيدي
بو سعيد. تتكون محالت نقاط العرض والبيع من متجر عام
.وصالة عرض خاصة ميكن زيارتها يف مواعيد محددة مسبقا
"روك القصبة" هي أيضا بيت ضيافة - صالة عرض، تقع عند
مدخل املدينة القدمية يف تونس يف قرص يعود تاريخه إىل القرن
السابع عرش. تم تجديد املكان بالكامل، وقام فيليب كزاري بتأثيثه
