‫خــا�ص‬ ّ I Special I Spécial Tarek M’rad Tarak M’ead is a Tunisian radio host and photographer, born in 1978 in Bizerte, a city that he particularly cherishes. Avid reader, comic books fan, he used to be the nerd always first of his class. He enters the Institut des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Carthage and obtains at the age of 23 a Master’s degree in business. Then, he joins a major multinational oil company in the marketing department and alternates between this profession and his first calling, radio hosting. Moreover, it is behind the mike of Radio Tunis Chaîne Internationale that he is discovered as a cultural agitator, defender of the alternative cultures. During this period of hyperactivity, photography imposes itself on him, he then goes as a free agent hunting images on the roads of Tunisia. An activity that he practices without any pretentiousness, only stimulated by the simple pleasure that he gets from photography. Nevertheless, his pictures have reached a certain level of fame, especially with the documentation of the great moments of the Tunisian revolution or with the honours he received during national events. He is now a host at Express FM, a private economy-oriented radio that includes the shows : “Mise au point”, “Underground” and “Pub and Co”. 179 I 57 ‫الغـزالــــة‬
