‫خــا�ص‬ ّ I Special I Spécial Sabrina Belkhouja Sabrina Belkhouja is a Tunisian freelance photographer, pianist and choregrapher born in Bizerte in 1980. Daughter of a musician and photographer father and of a photographer mother, her parents give her the love for art, especially photography. Having grown in this environment, she also tries other artistic forms such as music, drawing and dance. Through her pictures, she wants to pay tribute to the human, to give eternity to fleeting moments and scenes from day-to-day life. She also shows the militancy of women and their roles in the democratic transition. Curious, passionate and dynamic, she participates in a great number of cultural demonstrations since 2009. Among her most notable exhibitions, “Expression  : la rentrée symbolique de l’année photographique” in Beit el Bannani in 2009, a participation in the “8th Printemps des Arts” at the Abdelliya Palace and Sadika Gallery in 2010, a participation in “Close to the eyes, closer to the heart”, a collective exhibition organized by the Culture and Heritage Group of the Tunisian Pact in Paris as well as a participation in the project “State of siege-Elections in Tunisia, October 23rd 2011” with Afrique in visu at the Grand Theatre in Toulouse in 2011. In 2012, she is part of the exhibition “Self-expression through photography for the Tunisian revolution” during the “Long Night for Sciences” in Berlin and Potsdam as well as the “Art Takes Time Square”, the largest Broadway exhibition in 2012. Sabrina is nowadays owner of the agency “SELECT Audiovisual”, her pictures are published in local magazines and citizen journalism web portals covers, and are also acquired by private collectors and the Tunisian state.
