Born in 1968 in Tunis, Hichem Driss is a
freelance Tunisian photographer who
graduated from the EFET school in Paris in
1993. At the end of his university studies,
he works as a freelance between Tunis
and Paris and collaborates with numerous
photographers renowned in the fashion,
design, architecture and art photography
sectors. Asked to work on advertisment
orders, he creates in 2002 the “Barguellil”
studio, a space dedicated to advertising
photography and in which he produces his
exhibitions and his art books. In parallel
to this activity, Hichem conducts several
searches, exploiting different photographic
image processing techniques. During his
career, he participates in major events of
the local and international photography
scene such as exhibitions in Bamako,
Marseille, Tunis, Athenes and New York. In
