De Botticelli à Braque : chefs-d’œuvre
de la National Gallery of Scotland
De Young Museum à San Francisco

C’est une exposition d’envergure qui
se déroulera au De Young Museum à
San Francisco. 55 tableaux couvrant
une période de 400 ans, de 1490 à
1932 ont été rassemblés parmi les
trois plus grands musées irlandais.
Les œuvres de la National Gallery of
Scotland font preuve d’une grande
variété de mouvements artistiques
et d’artistes internationaux tels que
Titien, Sir Anthony van Dyck, Rembrandt, Picasso et Paul Cézanne.
Certaines œuvres seront présentées
pour la première fois sur le sol américain, à l’image de La Vierge adorant
l’Enfant Jésus endormi de Botticelli,
peint en 1490. I From Botticelli to

March 7th 2015 to May 31st 2015. This is
a broad exhibition that will take place
at the De Young Museum in San Francisco. 55 paintings covering a period
of 400 years, from 1490 to 1932 have
been gathered among the three major
Irish museums. The works from the
National Gallery of Scotland show a
large variety of artistic movements
and international artists such as Titian, Sir Anthony van Dyck, Rembrandt,
Picasso et Paul Cézanne. Some of the
pieces will be presented for the first
time in the United States, including
The Virgin adoring the sleeping Christ
Child by Botticelli, painted in 1490. I
