Mi interessa discutere di politica italiana con gli italiani qui a Bristol credo che l’idea che abbiamo della politica italiana è molto negativa ed è interessante sentire i pensieri della gente che tocca personalmente. L’idea che abbiamo qui della politica italiana è molto negativa, per questo trovo che sia molto interessante sentire cosa ne pensa la gente che vive e si confronta personalmente ogni giorno con questa situazione.

I’ve really enjoyed studying Dante, especially the Divine Comedy. The stories are timeless and I love all the references to classical culture!

I think my favourite part is learning what Italy is really like, moving beyond tourist stereotypes and learning to love the country in all its imperfections. And actually speaking Italian, which is just so much fun!

I’m most interested in looking at cultural and social issues so, for example, Italian cinema and history. I feel that we can use these to reflect on modern issues that are relevant both inside and outside of Italy, as well as helping to develop our understanding of Italian society as a whole!

For me, Italian cinema is the best thing to study. You can learn so much about Italian culture by looking at their films and the country has such a proud heritage of producing great cinema.
