J immy F rance had worked for McKee Foods Corporation for 24
years when, at God’s nudging, he left the security of that job to do
what he loves, being a seminar presenter of Bible prophecy, other
biblical topics, and personal finance. The material he will share in
his seminar comes from his 30 years of studying Daniel 2’s stone
and God’s character of love wrapped in the Great Controversy
theme. Now he wants to share the life-changing truths he’s found
with everyone who will listen. He and his wife, Monica, have two
children and live in Tennessee.
C lifford G oldstein was born in Albany, New York. He was
raised a secular Jew, but became a Seventh-day Adventist in
1980. He received a B.A. from the University of Florida and an
M.A. in Ancient Northwest Semitic Languages from Johns Hop-
kins University. Goldstein edited the journal Shabbat Shalom
from 1984 until 1992. He was the editor of Liberty magazine
from 1992 until 1997 and the editor of the adult Sabbath School
lesson in 1999. He also wrote the 2006 third quarter edition, en-
titled The Gospel, 1844, and Judgment. Goldstein and his wife,
Kimberly, have two children.
R ichard H alversen spent years battling drug addiction until
he had a powerful conversion experience and accepted God’s
calling into pastoral ministry. He is passionate about evange-
lism, church planting, and creating environments where people
can grow safely in Him. He currently pastors the College Drive
Church in Pearl, Mississippi and a new church plant called The
Ridge in Clinton, Mississippi. He also serves as the church plant-
ing director for the Gulf States Conference. He has been mar-
ried to his wife, Brittney, for 19 years. They have four children:
Kaleb, Hayley, Tristen, and Taylor. “Richie” considers Tennessee his home away from
home. He is an Alumni of Highland Academy, and his wife lived in Portland, Tennes-
see for many years.
D aniel R. J ackson the president of the North American Divi-
sion, was elected June 28, 2010, by delegates of the world church
at their business session in Atlanta, Georgia, and re-elected to
this position on July 6, 2015 at the 60th General Conference Ses-
sion held in San Antonio, Texas. Jackson is a native Canadian
and, with the exception of five years of service in the Southern
Asia Division, has lived and ministered in the North American
Division. He is a graduate of Canadian Union College (now Bur-
man University) and Andrews University, from which he holds
an M.A. in Religion in Systematic Theology.
