B arbara N eher has been teaching sewing and cooking classes for 46 years. She has written two cookbooks and a sewing in- structional book. She is cofounder and national director of the “It’s My Very Own” and “Bags of Love” ministries for the past 12 years. These ministries are now in five countries and 42 states. P hilip S amaan is a theology professor at Southern Adventist University. He has served as the chief editor of the adult Sabbath School lessons, and as a professor both in the Religion Depart- ment and the Theological Seminary at Andrews University. He also served as director of the Doctor of Ministry program, the Center for Continuing Education for Ministry, and the M.A. in Pastoral Ministry. Samaan has served in the Africa-Indian Ocean Division, and the North Pacific Union. He pastored and was or- dained in the Idaho Conference. He has a multitude of published works among which are many books. O lan T homas has worked at It Is Written for eight years. Thomas has served God in outreach ministry in multiple capacities dur- ing his life. Early in his career, he served in literature evangelism leadership in Greater New York, Michigan, and the Indian Ocean Union. He later worked in pastoral ministry in three regions of Michigan. While serving as pastor, he was called into planned giving ministry to assist church members in gifting assets to the work of God. Olan Thomas is married to Phyllis Walkup Thomas and they have three grown children Samuel, Charissa, and David. K en W etmore is pastor of the historic Madison Campus Church near Nashville, Tennessee. Prior to serving at Madison Campus, Wetmore was the Youth Director for the Kentucky-Tennessee Conference, a pastor in the Upper Columbia Conference, and worked in public relations and broadcast news in Georgia and the island of Guam. Supporting his call to ministry are his wife of 18 years, Rachelle, and their two children Kyla and Eric. His pas- sion is to follow God’s will for his life and to help others discover God’s will for their life. 9
