Organizations have done hackathons , social media mass quizzes , permanently open walk in interviews , full page advertisements in leading publications stressing on the history and brand - to state a few . What would be your advice to talent acquisition professionals on how to ‘ stand out from the crowd ’ in order to attract the right talent ?
Indraneil Roy ( IR ): In today ’ s scenario where competition to recruit talent becomes even more severe , the employer brand has to differentiate itself . Organization should look at building a Story line which will essentially put out what the organization Values are , what it is setting out to achieve , how its employees contribute to that goal and in process get enriched socially , intellectually , and economically . The Workforce going into the future will consists mostly of Millennial and their outlook to life and career are quite different from previous generation of Workforce employees . This is essential to understand and then design your recruitment function with the associated Process , People and Tools so that you are ahead of your competition .
