The lessons have changed, more computer aided lessons have come and
teaching-learning process has become more modern. Students make use of
internet to help in their assignments, which I feel is a revolution. Those days, we
had to search books or ask someone for some extra information. Now you have
information a mouse click away! Grades have reduced the tension of students.
As a teacher, we are also asked to divide the work given to students to reduce the
stress. Being a teacher has given me the experience of escorting children for
competitions in other KVs. Preparing question papers, evaluating, giving grades,
preparing progress cards etc is now part of my life. As a student, we never know
the stress behind preparing a question paper!
Sports, games, CCA, cluster-level, regional-level, and national level competitions
in KVS have always complimented the studies. There is encouragement in every
stage now and then. Participation in outside events is also very positive. Anyhow,
the creativity and standard of KV students stands out in every crowd. No doubt!
