Creativity and the Arts are an essential part of children’s worlds, although often we see this
as the opposite of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). This hands-
on session focuses on STEAM (adding the Arts to STEM) and looks at how technology can
enable children as creators, create an audience and extend learning, play and creativity. By
integrating music and creative arts to STEM we will explore how rich integrated learning can
be. Participants will:
$130 Integrate loose parts play and technology into the program to promote higher order
