Education for Sustainability
EDUCATION FOR SUSTAINABI LITY 1-DAY WORKSHOP

This 1-day workshop consists of the following two parts: Wednesday 10 July
9:30am – 3:30pm

Part 1: Education for Sustainability Principles
During this workshop participants will explore why sustainability is important in
early childhood education and how our decisions impact on the world.

Part 2: Creating a Living Philosophy
Participants will explore the way in which their philosophy guides actions and
ensures it is inclusive of ‘Education for Sustainability’.
Completing ‘Education for Sustainability 1-day Workshop’ will
contribute 5 hours of NESA registered PD addressing 2.1.2 and 6.2.2
from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards
maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW
