Pedagogy and Practice WORKSHOP SERIES – CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT (CONTINUED) Jan Faulkner WORKSHOP 2: A TIME FOR THINKING: CRITICAL REFLECTION ON PRACTICE Friday 9 May There is a strong emphasis on critical reflection in the National Quality Standard and Early Years Learning Framework. During this workshop we will explore the way in which critical reflection drives decision making, strategies for engaging in processes of critical reflection and ways to integrate critical reflection into daily practice. KU Training Room 129 York St Sydney 9:30am – 1:00pm $160 Completing ‘A Time for Thinking: Critical Reflection on Practice’ will contribute 3 hours of NESA registered PD addressing 3.6.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW WORKSHOP 3: THE ART OF QUESTIONS: TRANSFORMING PRACTICE Thursday 25 July Questions can open the door for dialogue, discovery and new ways of thinking. During this workshop we will explore the art of asking questions for new understanding, exploring points of view and transforming practice.
