Declaration by Board of Directors
in Respect of Fundraising Appeals
In the opinion of the Board of Directors:
(i) the accounts give a true and fair view of all income and expenditure of KU Children’s Services with respect to
fundraising activities under the Charitable Fundraising Act 1991 and the Regulations;
(ii) the balance sheet as at 31 December 2009 gives a true and fair view of the state of affairs with respect to fundraising
activities;
(iii) the provision of the Charitable Fundraising Act 1991 and the Regulations under that Act and the conditions attached
to the authority have been complied with to the organisation’s best ability; and
(iv) the internal controls exercised by KU Children’s Services are appropriate and effective in accounting for all income
received and applied by the organisation from any of its fundraising appeals.
