DIRECTORS’ DECLARATION The directors declare that: a) in the directors’ opinion, there are reasonable grounds to believe that the company will be able to pay its debts as and when they become due and payable; and b) in the directors’ opinion, the attached financial statements and notes thereto are in accordance with the Corporations Act 2001, including compliance with accounting standards and giving a true and fair view of the financial position and performance of the company. On behalf of the Directors Penny Le Couteur Chairman, Board of Directors Sydney, 16 April 2008 Sarah Cordle Director Sydney, 16 April 2008 DECLARATION BY BOARD OF DIRECTORS IN RESPECT OF FUNDRAISING APPEALS In the opinion of the Board of Directors: i) the accounts give a true and fair view of all income and expenditure of KU Children’s Services with respect to fundraising activities; ii) the Balance Sheet as at 31 December 2007 gives a true and fair view of the state of affairs with respect to fundraising activities; iii) the provision of the Charitable Fundraising Act 1991 and the Regulations under that Act and the conditions attached to the authority have been complied with to the organisation’s best ability; iv) the internal controls exercised by KU Children’s Services are appropriate and effective in accounting for all income received and applied by the organisation from any of its fundraising appeals; and v) the level of disclosure for fundraising was limited by the existing management systems in use by the organisation.
