Environments for the Possible – Honouring the Rights of
All Children
The term ‘environment as third teacher’ is familiar to many,
but is the complexity of this concept fully understood and
realised? Drawing on the latest research of how children learn,
this address will reveal the integral role of the environment, as
an interconnected weaving of key principles that can support
an aspirational culture of learning for all in the community.
With examples from several contexts, participants will be
inspired and provoked to reflect and make connections to
their own contexts, as we consider the rights of all children to
spaces of quality.
