It was constructed in the year 1170, 4th century.

It is the largest cathedral in the world.

The main treasure of the cathedral is a golden reliquary containing the story of the three kings of Christmas.

These relics and other treasures have made the Cathedral of Cologne a major pilgrimage destination for centuries.

One of the pieces was burned down on April 30, in the year 1248.

First, when we arrived to Germany all of the families were waiting for us, so we went with them to our houses. Before I settled in the house we had dinner all of us together in a restaurant. After this, we went to a party with all of the Spanish students, German students and also with some friends of German girls until 12 o’clock. Finally, we came back to our house and we went to sleep.

Today we have visited two museums of Krefeld; Kaiser Wilhelm Museum and Villa Merländer.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Today we all went to two different museums. In the first one, we saw different paintings about landscapes. And when the tour finished we drew a painting ourselves about different objects. I decided to paint a plant and I drew it. After that museum, we went to another one where a Jewish man lived lot of years ago. The girl that told us information, told us different facts about the house and how was it 80 years ago. Then, we came back home and I stayed with Patrick playing video games, watching videos, and he told me about his crazy friends.

VILLLA MERLANDER

The association Villa Merländer was founded on March 10, 1992 to support the recently established NS Documentation Center of the city of Krefeld. Basically, the promotion of activities reminding of the Nazi period in Krefeld and the Lower Rhine is the goal of the association.
