ANTZARRAK LEKEITIO, GOOSE DAY

Antzarrak: The Day of the Geese, also known as Antzar Eguna, is a competition held as part of the San AntolĂ­n festival in the Basque fishing-town of Lekeitio, in which participants attempt to decapitate a goose suspended on a rope above the town harbor.

SAN SEBASTIAN'S TANBORRADA

The Tamborrada is San Sebastian’s most important festival and the entire city gathers together regardless of the cold or rain. More than 15,000 Donostiarras (people of San Sebastian as they are called in Basque) that belong to over 100 bands, actively take part in the drumming
