CUAJADA, is a dairy product. Traditionally it is made from ewe`s milk, but now it is more often made industrially from cow`s milk. It is popular in the Basque Country and Navarra.

MARMITAKO, is a type of Basque fish stew. This dish is normally prepared in a large kettle or oven. It typically contains tuna, potatoes, tomatoes, green pepper and spices.

In addition to the dishes and products of the Basque Country, there are features of the way of preparing and sharing food unique to the area.
