BPP
New LLM Legal Practice (Barristers) programme, an integrated
practice-focused Masters programme incorporating the BPTC ,
with the chance of qualifying for postgraduate loan funding of up
to £10,280 from the Student Loans Company.
Largest selection of optional subjects.
Option to type opinion writings and drafting assessments.
Opportunity to convert your BPTC to a full BPP University Masters
degree by completing an additional 60 credits.
If you did not manage to obtain a pupillage within six months of
completing your BPTC, you can study another qualification at
BPP, worth up to £16,500* including the LPC, for free (Terms and
condition applies) .
Various Pro - Bono opportunities are available .
CAR
The only Russell Group University to offer the BPTC .
Guaranteed period of two weeks placements (opportunity to marshall
both with a circuit judge and a district judge in addition to undertaking
a mini – pupillage).
On passing the BPTC you will have the opportunity to convert your
qualification into a Masters degree.
You will be given oral and written feedback for all oral skills practices
and a combination of written and oral feedback for at least six practices
in both opinion writing and drafting. You will also receive feedback
from your peers.
Various Pro - Bono opportunities are available.
Other activities include mooting, negotiating and client interviewing
competitions and legal discussion groups.
Opportunity to develop wider “employability” skills through
participation in the school’s Law in Action pro-bono schemes runned
with partner organisations, in which student volunteers assist real
people in their dealings with the law. The schemes currently include:
