CLS
Training Barristers for 164 years.
The City Law School is the original provider of bar training and
developed the first BVC (now the BPTC) in 1989.
A £1,500 discount for those with a First Class degree.

24/7 Law Library, special postgraduate study areas, personal Chamber
rooms, personal study areas plus a mock courtroom.
42 hours of criminal and civil advocacy plus assessments, which is over
three times the minimum required by the BSB.
Offers additional classes with barristers who are in full time practice to
give you further opportunities to develop your advocacy skills.
Students regularly have contact with a variety of members of the
Northern Circuit including additional advocacy classes and ethics
mentors.
There is opportunity to gain an additional independent professional
qualification in mediation with no extra cost.
Each chambers group is allocated their own Practitioner Mentor, a
locally based barrister who will be on hand to guide.
Various Pro - Bono opportunities are available.
