KNOW What New International Paralegal Association Forms JOIN NOW! The 3rd PIA General Meeting was held on February 27, 2014. CEO and Founder, Chere Estrin, welcomed all and detailed the purpose and mission of the association. To date, we’re proud to announce PIA has 506 members. This is a very different kind of association because we are global. Nothing, to our knowledge, has been done in the past like PIA. We met Marisa Holladay, the new Marketing Director for OLP and PKI who will help provide marketing, structural and organizational assistance to PIA. We also met Sue Byerly who is the Director of Administration serving PIA, OLP and PKI. PIA General Meetings are held once a month, and will be recorded so you can keep upto-date on the latest developments. Membership: Two membership levels, Basic and Executive, have been created. All current PIA members have received a complimentary annual Basic Membership. It’s not too late for you to join! General consensus is rolling-up other chapters into PIA serves the most benefit to all. Getting Connected: PIA Social Media sites have launched. All members are encouraged to join the PIA Online Discussion Group on Facebook for members-only communication and networking within the Association. The “Getting Connected Social Media” contest is underway! The 100th “like” or “follow” on each of the PIA Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ pages will 10 win a one-year PIA Executive Membership. Winners will be announced on the respective pages.
