Next we go to Mexico, where many Notre Dame students have family and a rich heritage. First, we interviewed Adan and Anely Salgado. The Salgado household spends many months preparing for the Christmas season...and with good reason. Every year, the Salgados participate in the Mexican dance “Los Matachines" which they perform for 12 or more days in December to honor the appearance of Our Lady of Guadalupe to Juan Diego.
