River race names needed

ordy Brooker from Rural and Lifestyle Sales
has recently donated two trophies for the
Woodville River Race. The trophies are for the
first timers’ class and the main race, which has
been held for 37 years or so. Gordy is looking for
the names and dates of all the past winners so he
can back date the trophy for the main race. So far
Gordy has the following list of winners and years:

trail ride has established
itself as one of the
premier trail bike rides
in the northern North
Island. Covering approximately
35km, it features a good variety
of typical Northland hill country,
rising to the feature highpoint on
the foothills of the Tangihua Range
that separates East from West
in the centre of the Northland.
