a second option. After the practise rounds, riders
chose their preferred option when coming upon
the obstacles, but as in any race, every round was
different and that option wasn’t always available.
After three rounds we got to fully appreciate
the track, and all got to enjoy watching the
supporters’ race - consisting of everyone who
was just a bit too old to be able to race against
the high-schoolers. Their race was at the end of
the day and followed straight after their practice
laps. It was cool watching the dads and older
guys zipping around the track showing us how
it’s done properly and you could tell by all the
smiles on their faces that they were enjoying
