The Real water sports Triple-S
Invitational is the pinnacle of
kiteboarding in North America.
With a world class slick and slider
park in the back yard, Real puts
on one hell of an event. Riders
come from across the globe to
compete in the prestigious event.
With such a high calibre event
taking place on a small sand bar
in the ocean, you can imagine the
crowd the event pulls in. The event
is always held in the slick just 1/2
km upwind of Real water sports’
backyard. There is a large pier in
the slick on which spectators are
able to watch the event from. In
2011 the unthinkable was done
- Ryan Evans and Chris Stuckey
decided to build a floating raft to
get spectators closer to the action
while enjoying some drinks! The
platform could hold over fifteen
people and was complete with an
astro turf top and an old couch.
The party raft made Triple-S
history and got spectators,
friends and family even closer
to the action. This was just the
beginning…
