known I really would have gone there
sooner. Nonetheless, we still had a great
time. The town is great. It’s small but the
whole place has a great vibe. The surf is
amazing down there, you can’t beat it. I
just could not believe the vast amounts
of different spots in the area that kept me
saying “that was the best wave I have
ever seen”, then I’d see another....
Augusta is the birth place of great
sunsets. It is an insane spot which has tall
grass behind it keeping the water so flat.
Unfortunately I only managed a 10 minute
session on my 13… but it was great while
it lasted.
So I didn’t get to see as much of Australia
as I’d liked before I came home to Blighty,
but where I did go and what I have seen
didn’t disappoint.
Finally, in the words of Baz Luhrmann:
