High res jpeg or RAW RAW images will give you more capability later on in the editing phase but as an amateur photographer it’s best to save your images as a jpeg format on your camera. Don’t compress your files! Insure they are saved as the highest resolution for great picture clarity. Make sure your horizon line is straight This is a relatively straight forward issue to sort out. You can either ensure your image is straight to begin with or make the corrections later on in the editing phase. Don’t leave the horizon line at an angle.
