Hertz and CLEAR
Partner to
reimagine the car
rental experience
Hertz and CLEAR have launched
Hertz Fast Lane powered by
CLEAR – a new service that uses
biometrics to drastically speed
up the car rental process and get
travellers in the United States
through the exit gate and on the
road in 30 seconds or less – a time
savings of at least 75%.
With CLEAR, members enrol
once to enjoy frictionless experi-
ences with greater predictability at
more than 40 airports and venues
nationwide. Now, Hertz Gold Plus
Rewards loyalty members who
sign up for CLEAR and link their
accounts will be able to verify their
identity and rental reservation
with just a look or tap of their
finger. Hertz Fast Lane powered
by CLEAR marks the first use
of biometrics by a major rental
car company and the first time
CLEAR’s trusted identity platform
is enabling members to verify their
identity using their face instead of
showing a physical ID.
The first Hertz Fast Lane pow-
ered by CLEAR is now available
at the Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta
International Airport (ATL), offering
renters unmatched speed and se-
curity so they can enjoy more time
doing what they love. Throughout
2019, Hertz Fast Lane powered by
CLEAR will be rolled out to more
than 40 additional Hertz locations,
including some of the busiest
U.S. airports such as Los Angeles
International Airport (LAX), John F.
Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
and San Francisco International
Airport (SFO), among others. n

RMG partners with Kennedy Space Center
Visitor Complex to enhance the experience
of guests visiting the attraction
RMG Networks (RMG), a global leader in technology-driven visual
communications, has partnered with the iconic Kennedy Space Center Visitor
Complex to energise its guest experience with customised creative video
content powered through RMG MAX LED technology.
RMG produced a series of content video stories channelled through
custom LED displays for newly imagined displays on the exterior of several
attractions. These displays draw guests into attractions including the Astronaut
Training Experience Center (ATX), Mars Rover Concept Vehicle, Kennedy Space
Center Bus Tours, Universe Theater, and the recently renovated, two-level
Space Shop.
Perhaps one of the most exciting guest experiences is the newly renovated
15,372 square feet ‘World’s Largest Space Shop’, which re-opened in June
2018 featuring an interactive shopping experience. Standing inside the shop,
guests are surrounded by LED screens featuring video content (produced by
RMG content creative services) that immerses guests into the fantastic world
of space exploration. Also featured are selfie stations where guests can take
photos of themselves as astronauts and see their images come alive on the
LED screens.
Jerry Rosen, RMG’s chief revenue officer commented: “It’s an extreme
honour to be working with the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.” n
