Coinstar and doxo announce partnership
Coinstar and doxo have partnered to provide an easy and convenient cash bill pay service to consumers via thousands of Coinstar kiosks in high-traffic retail locations . Through this partnership , consumers will be able to pay bills including utilities , phone , cable , insurance , car loans , and more using cash at up to 7,000 Coinstar kiosks by the end of the year . Payers can choose from doxo ’ s crowd-sourced directory of more than 45,000 local and national billers .

Alibaba unveils car vending machine to test drive cars
Tmall has unveiled its ‘ Super Test-Drive Center ’ in Guangzhou with over 100 Ford cars available for Chinese consumers to select from . From today till April 23 , consumers can sign up on the Tmall or Taobao mobile APP , pick up the selected car through an unmanned car vending machine in the centre , and get a three-day test drive for a full experience of the vehicle before they decide to make the purchase . The car vending machine is exclusively offering Ford models including the brand ’ s Explorer SUV , Mustang and Escort . The whole vending machine visit lasts no more than 10 minutes .
Sign up is completely mobile on the Tmall or Taobao mobile APP . Once a Ford vehicle is chosen , consumers snap a selfie to ensure they are the only person who can take the car from the centre , put down a deposit electronically and schedule a pick-up time , all from within the app .
Discounts and other incentives will also be provided to potential buyers based on consumer insights derived from user activity and history with the Alibaba ecosystem . During the vending machine visit , customers simply verify their identity with their selfie and the vehicle they selected is delivered from the multi-storey car dispensary to the ground floor where the test drive begins .
Consumers can simply take out another car if they are not totally satisfied . Each individual can test drive two vehicles provided they are different models . If they decide to make the purchase after the test drive , they can visit Ford ’ s offline 4S stores to pay the remaining balance after paying the deposit on Tmall . n
