“ Sport plays a significant part in the lives of many Wykehamists.
The strength of sport at Winchester lies in the flexibility of boys
to choose their preferred option, to be coached to the highest level
and to excel. We have now reached the stage where demand
outstrips supply: there is simply not enough space to accommodate
all the sports and give them the time and space that the boys need.
The Kingsgate Park Project is a vision that would ensure the future
of sport in the School, a state-of-the-art complex with first class
facilities to allow boys to enjoy sport and to practise and compete
at the highest level. ”
