A ceremony was held at the school on Novara Avenue in June to say farewell to the institution. Past pupils and teachers joined the current school community for the ceremony. The Bray Institute of Further Education will continue to operate on the same campus. A host of former teachers were joined at the ceremony by former principal Carol Hanney and former Vice-Principal Majella Deasy. Ray Tedders was the final principal to serve at the school. The memories came flooding back for those who walked the corridors of their alma mater one last time.

New Post Primary Teacher Induction for all first time teachers will take place on the 7th October 2015 in the Glenview Hotel, Glen of the Downs Co. Wicklow.
The day will comprise of a formal welcome from KWETB, invaluable workshops on teaching methodologies/aides and information sessions on terms and contracts of employment.
This is a great networking opportunity and has proven invaluable to new teachers settling into their roles. Formal invitations and agenda will be issued via school principals over the coming weeks.
