Community Education, Literacy and the Adult Education Services have detailed fantastic interagency partnerships throughout the magazine. Their work is so valuable in terms of society, community development, education and skills development for adults.

Project SEARCH a collaboration with NAAS Hospital, BTEI (Jigginstown) and KARE.

Well done to the Outdoor Education Centre team on their establishment of KWETB Orienteering Championships for our schools I am sure it will go from strength to strength.

Congratulations to all our schools and centres, their teams and students who are featuring in the roll of honour slideshows.

Wicklow County Council Arts Office, Music Generation Wicklow (KWETB) with the County Library service partnered to launch a Music Instruments in Libraries Loan Scheme.

Bray Institute of Further Education and Bray Adult Guidance Service Project worked together in the ‘Access to Further Education Project’ for adult learners.

Colásite Lorcáins partnership with Kildare GAA on the Junior Cycle Well Being Project.

The Sports Promotion Unit is a result of several public organisations working together successfully promoting sport to young people.

There are many other initiatives and I apologise if I have left anyone out. It is overwhelming to see the volume of work and the positive impact KWETB has on people’s lives throughout Kildare and Wicklow. Congratulations to the Production Team for this edition of the magazine, it is excellent. I again take this opportunity to thank the staff and all our partners in education and training for your commitment to KWETB and for your continued professional engagement. I wish you all a very successful 2017/2018 academic year and a nice break for Halloween.
