KWETB’s Community Education service and Alchemy Music) and each partner contributed something specific. The synergy between all three organisations created a project that was broader in scope than that which any one partner could have developed alone. Kildare Adult Learner Festival

We have been initiating events to mark the Aontas Adult Learner Festival for the past five years. This year we chose the environment as the theme. Five groups undertook a 30-hour project between September 2016 and March 2017.

The projects included Celbridge Tree Trail by ShareRing Skills, Celbridge; Community Garden by Eve Larine, Maynooth; DIY Solar Panel by Clane Men's Shed; Dandy Lion Mosaic by Create Together, Kildare Town and Famine Graveyard Restoration by Women's Activity Group, Athy. We partnered with each group but each group partnered with each other by participating in workshops during the project, by sharing on a WhatsApp group and by participating in each other's events held during the Aontas Adult Learner Festival week.
