Creative Collaboration at Bray Institute of Further Education taps into the theme of Learn Work Live for this issue.

Students from across Bray Institute of Further Education have been working in collaboration with BIFE Performing Arts Students on their production of Chekov’s Three Sisters.

The annual showcase for Performing Arts has become a vehicle for students to gain real life experience and to become part of a vibrant event which is now established as one of the highlights of the BIFE academic calendar and to bring the work of the institute to the whole community. Students have the opportunity to showcase their work to a wider audience.

Fashion Designers, Art and Ceramic students, TV and Film Department, the Fashion Theatre and Media Make Up students and the Furniture Design department all worked in collaboration and lent their skills to bring this production to the stage.

The students on the Higher National Certificate in Fashion Design course worked with the performing arts department to create costume designs for the Three Sisters’ characters – Masha, Olga and Irina.

THEATRE, MEDIA, MAKE UP students created the make-up and special effects look for the stage.

Film and TV students recorded the show. All in all a huge cross institute effort on behalf of the staff and students.
