FEBRUARY/MARCH 2019 Welcome A dream written down with a date becomes a goal. A goal broken down into steps becomes a plan and a plan backed by action becomes reality! These two sentences are written in my 2019 journal and highlighted. On the same page, are my goals for the year in categories which include family, home, finances, holidays, work and self care and within each of these categories are three goals that I wish to achieve over the coming twelve months. The next stage of achieving this wish list is to put a date beside each goal and take action. We sat down as a family on New Year’s Day and discussed what we all individually wanted to achieve this year and then documented those words. It was good to share our goals so that we could then have some accountability. Yes I know it’s early days but a strong start is imperative and now we just need to keep up our motivation. There are small items on our lists including minor home improvements that we can achieve over weekends, and some big ticket items that require some hard work and planning but we are excited to tick things off as we go! I’m a planner and an organiser by nature, so to have a clear vision of my year’s goals gives me confidence and peace. I’ll touch base with you through the year to let you know how we are travelling. I’m hoping it will be positive!
