INCENTIVES FOR INTERNATIONAL VISITORS “Girl Power” is a theme that supports the interest of girls and centres on products that help instil strength, confidence and independence in them to pursue their interests and goals. The trend “Body and Mind” is all about bringing body and spirit into balance. This theme focusses on products that encourage the physical and mental well-being of children through play and, in conjunction with fitness and physical activity, help children enjoy a healthy lifestyle. “Train Your Brain” include toys that train mental fitness and help create smart minds. Products that are targeted towards these trends will be on display at this excep- tional platform that makes it easy for retailers to discover them in the ocean of new products. More- over, an international expert will give a presentation on toy trends as part of the Seminar & Workshop programme that runs concurrently to the fair. International buyers visiting the fair also have good news. The Indian government in its efforts to boost the domestic industry will once again offer an ‘Internation- al Buyers Program’ where in visiting foreign buyers can obtain a reimbursement on their travel expenses when they visit Kids India. The programme which is initiated by the Sports Goods Export Promotion Coun- cil of India (SGEPC) will go a long way to encourage more international buyers to come to India and thus promote exports of Indian made toys and products.
