Landscape Symposium and Plant Sale - April 28 , 2017
KICA ’ s annual Landscape Symposium gives members an opportunity to hear from a group of expertly trained , experienced landscape professionals while getting one-on-one advice and guidance . At the Plant Sale , members can purchase beautiful native plants for their properties . All funds raised from plant sales are reinvested into KICA ’ s greenhouse operations and common-area plantings , helping to keep the island beautiful .

Join your neighbors for this annual social celebration of KICA members poolside at the Sandcastle with light hors d ’ oeuvres and beverages , live music and dancing . More details to come .
Summer Programs , the Castle Grille and the Sandbar
Summer programs include fun in the sun and activities for both the young and the young at heart . Kids ’ Crafts will be offered at 2 p . m . each Friday for children ages 4-12 . Kids can learn to hang 10 at our Surf Camp - held weekly by Tidal Trails , a KICA partner . Come celebrate our nation ’ s independence on the July 4 with live music , a traditional American buffet , and the annual kids parade around the pool .

Dogtoberfest : Dogs , Dine and Wine - Oct . 28 , 2017
Dogtoberfest : Dogs , Dine and Wine event at Freshfields Village will feature a variety of pet-related vendors , pet rescue organizations , a wine tasting , craft beer and delicious food . Spend the afternoon at Freshfields enjoying fun events like a pet costume contest , live music and great prizes . Proceeds benefit the participating pet rescue organizations . These groups provide food , shelter , medicine and care for rescued dogs , ultimately finding “ forever homes ” for these pets in need .
