Kiawah Shuttle Service Recoups Cost in First Year
In May 2015, after just its first year in operation, the Kiawah Shuttle
Service by KICA recouped the entire initial capital cost of the shuttle.
To-date, the service averages around $6,000 of revenue per month.
itineraries typically range from local destinations such as
downtown Charleston and the airport to more distant locales
around the state and beyond.
“The shuttle has served our members well since beginning
operations in 2014,” said KICA COO Jimmy Bailey. “To have
fully recouped capital costs in such a short time is a testament to
our outstanding staff who provide a first class experience.”
