Kiawah Regime Council Friday, May 2, 9 - 11 a.m. The Kiawah Regime Council (KRC), a KICA committee, was established to unite our more than 1,500 regime properties, serve common interests and achieve common goals. Its mission is to provide access to ideas and information for the enhancement and enjoyment of regime properties. Members of regimes and regime managers are encouraged to attend. Kiawah Goes to the Dogs Friday, May 2 Check out a Charleston RiverDogs baseball game with your friends and neighbors in a reserved section at Joe Riley Stadium. RSVP to the Sandcastle and reserve your spot today! iPad Classes Friday, May 2, Level One: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., Level Two: 2 - 5 p.m. Trident Tech presents two customized three-hour courses to help students gain the skills desired to use their iPads. Level 1 Basics is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will cover topics such as how to use apps already loaded on the iPad such as FaceTime, the calendar and the camera. Level 2 is from 2 - 5 p.m. and goes more in-depth, discussing key points of iTunes, photos and iCloud, as well as using your iPad to send reminders, notifications, calendar appointments, voice commands, etc. Other topics include organizing contacts; downloading applications, books, music, periodicals, movies and other media; FaceTime and more. Level 1 is a prerequisite for taking the Level 2 course. Each class is $35. RSVP to the Sandcastle. Trivia Night Friday, May 16, 7 - 9 p.m. Finish up dinner, put on your thinking cap and come over to the Sandcastle to rattle your brain! Bring your favorite drink (drinks are not provided) and listen to live piano music by Glenn Brown, The Piano Man, while testing your mental fortitude. Play with a team (max six people) or sign up there. Cost is $10 per property owner. Cars and Coffee at Freshfields Saturday, May 17, 8 - 10 a.m., Freshfields Village Calling all car enthusiasts! Bring your favorite ride to Freshfields Village for Cars and Coffee. The event will feature all types of cares including antiques, classics, exotics, concepts and more. Admission is free.
