7 March 2018 New Playground Opens Among the Trees in Ocean Park Late in December, Kiawah Partners opened the Treehouse playground at the west end of the Ocean Park neighborhood. This childhood oasis sits in a cluster of trees near the Marsh House and is open to all property owners and their guests. "In my experience, most parks have playgrounds, so this is a perfect fit for Ocean Park," said Charlie Arrington, director of design and planning for Kiawah Partners. "It is scaled to be enjoyed by children of all ages, as well as adults.” The playground includes a tower with marsh, lagoon and ocean views; three slides of varying heights (four, six, and 10 feet tall); swings for very young children and older ones, and a climbing feature called a “Log-scramble.” For more information on the Ocean Park community, visit kiawahisland.com/oceanpark.
