7 June 2014 Security Celebrate Kiawah Entertains Hundreds On The Web On Saturday, April 26, 450 KICA members flocked to the annual Celebrate Kiawah social event at the Sandcastle Community Center. Members mingled with neighbors and enjoyed heavy hors d’oeuvres and desserts from Duvall Catering and Event Design, drinks served by KICA staff and live music by the Ocean Drive Party Band. Donations including $761 and 278 pounds of food (enough to provide 217 meals) were collected at the event for the Lowcountry Food Bank. Below are just a few photos from this wonderful event. A New Hot Spot to Cool Down at the Sandcastle The pool is no longer the only way to beat the heat at the Sandcastle. The Sandbar, which opened on May 23, is a full-service bar serving delicious speciality cocktails, frozen drinks, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.
