Easter Events Around the Island
Eggstravagant Easter Festival
Wednesday, April 17 | 6 p.m.
This evening will be filled with family activities
including jump castles, photo booth, lawn
games, roving entertainment, glow gear
and crafts. Dance to music with plenty of
favorites for the entire family. Admission is
complimentary. Night Heron Grill will be open
extended hours until 8:30 p.m.
Freshfields Spring Concert
Friday, April 19 | 6-9 p.m.
Enjoy an evening of live music on the
Village Green on Friday, April 19. Guests are
encouraged to bring a chair or blanket for this
free, family-friendly event.
Freshfields Spring Festival
Saturday, April 20 | 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Children can enjoy a jump castle, inflatable slide,
balloon animals, spring crafts, and more. Be sure
to bring your camera to snap a photo with the
Easter Bunny as he hops through the Village.
St. John’s Fire Department will host their annual
Spring Into Safety event with tours of their
fire engines, fire extinguisher training, escape
planning and safety tips and a visit from Sparky
the Fire Dog.
Kids Triathlon
Saturday, April 20 | 3 p.m.
This race is designed for kids ages 3-14 to be
successful triathletes! Start the swim in the
Night Heron Pool, utilize Kiawah’s bike paths
for the bike race, and run through the park to
arrive at a finish line party that’s one-of-a-kind!

A non-denominational service hosted by Church
of Our Saviour at Sanctuary Beach.
Easter Service on the Green
Sunday, April 21 | 9:30 a.m.
Join Church of Our Saviour for a casual
Easter Service at Freshfields Village. Guests are
encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for the
outdoor service.
Easter Egg Hunt and Toss
Sunday, April 21 | 10 a.m.
An Easter family tradition! Bring the whole
family to Night Heron Park for the annual
Easter Egg Hunt and Toss. Age groups will be
divided prior to beginning the hunt, which
starts promptly at 10 a.m. Please bring your own
basket. The Easter egg toss will directly follow
the Easter egg hunt. The Easter Bunny will be
available for photos beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Admission is complimentary.
Sand Sculpting Contest
Sunday, April 21 | 1:30-3 p.m.
Prizes awarded for the most creative and best
Easter themed sand sculptures! Bring your
creativity along with your sand tools. A limited
amount of sand toys will be available for rent
at the Sanctuary Beach Access. Admission is
complimentary.
