On a daily basis, our neighbors on Johns and Wadmalaw islands are faced with rural poverty and
isolation from resources. Year after year, you advocate, volunteer and give to improve the lives of
these families and individuals who are so often overlooked.
Your contributions to Kiawah Cares gave students and pre-school children the chance to begin a new
cycle of success, breaking away from intergenerational poverty. Your passion for education touched
the lives of many Sea Island students.
