T he premier educational event for the Agribusiness Industry is being offered right here in Kansas . This two day conference offers a platform where agents , brokers , underwriters and buyers can gain the expertise they need to properly insure the exposures faced by farms and agribusinesses .
On October 27 and 28 , the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents will host AFIS 2016 . Being a part of this conference means that attendees have the opportunity to take two of the five parts to achieve the AFIS certification . The Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist ( AFIS ) certification is the foremost professional certification in the agricultural and farm insurance industry . Those who complete the program demonstrate their knowledge of the insurance and risk management as well as their dedication to the Ag industry .
Joining us to present are Sam Bennett , Cameron Rudolph , Julie Fershtman and Casey Roberts . These four presenters are leaders in the farm and agribusiness industry and bring a wealth of expertise with them .
